The purpose of the National Sisterhood of Presvyteras is:

To promote the spirit of Christian love among the Presvyteres of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
- To provide opportunities for Presvyteres to get acquainted with one another.
- To meet periodically to discuss mutual concerns and to develop programs for outreach.
