Finance Committee

The Direct Archdiocesan District Fiance Committee is a standing committee of the Direct Archdiocesan District Council and a subcommittee of the National Finance Committee.  It is comprised of appointed lay members from across the Direct Archdiocesan District. The DAD Finance Committee works with the National Finance Committee to implement the Total Commitment Program approved by the Archdiocese Clergy-Laity Congress in 2006.  The committee meets regularly throughout the year. The committee also meets with Parish Councils to review their allocations, hear appeals, answer questions, discuss their issues and to assist them.

Purpose:
- Provide for financial transparency and accountability
- Providing open transparency in DAD financial reporting
- Assists in preparing DAD Budget

Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the total Commitment Program for the DAD
- Set deadlines
- Coordinate preparation and distribution of allocations
- Hears and decides appeals
- Assist parishes through Compliance process
- Works with National Finance Committee

June 1,2020 - All Data Forms from Parishes due to the Arch District Finance Committee

June 23, 2020 Arch District Finance Committee will meet to review all data forms

July 1, 2020 All Data forms must be submitted to National Finance Committee

Septermber 15, 2020 Deadline to file Appeal to Arch District Finance Committee.

September 29, 2020 Tentative Appeal Hearing Date with Arch Finance Committee

December 31, 2020 all TC Payments due to the Archdiocese

January 15, 2021 Final Date fore receipt of 2020 TC Payments
