About Our Office
The mission of the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is to minister to young people and their families, as well as youth workers, enabling them to fully experience the Orthodox Faith; to assist local parishes in creating and sustaining youth and young adult ministries; and to create resources.
The Direct Archdiocesan District, housed at the Archdiocese in New York City, encompasses parishes in most of New York State, the western half of Connecticut, Washington, D.C. and the Bahamas.
The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministries is led by Fr. Panagiotis Papazafiropoulos, the Director and is under the pastoral care of His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros.
